Norrøna Lofoten Gore-Tex Pro Shell Pant - Men's

Norrøna Lofoten Gore-Tex Pro Shell Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 16, 2011

Im giving this 5 stars even if the ass is a little snug!!!!!!

Im a 38 (heading fast to 39) and 32 inseam. They fit well in that respect. The leg cut is baggy and will cover your ski boots well.

What I like about these pants is the tough material. You just can't break them! I also like having 3 pockets on top of my thighs, great for accessing them on the chair lift.

These pants also integrate with my jacket making it an all in one without that lame 80's look (Kids, you might think the 80's look is hip right now, but trust me, I have photos of me in the 80's, you will regret it.......)

Buy these pants, you won't regret it.

Norrøna Narvik Gore-Tex Comfort Shell 3L Jacket - Men's

Norrøna Narvik Gore-Tex Comfort Shell 3L Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 16, 2011

I have this jacket as my main ski coat. Im 6'3" and 220 lbs the XL fits well and the sleeves are just right. The cut is longer and the bottom of the jacket covers my ass well:)

The vent pockets on the torso hide 2 hand pockets while also opening a mesh screen for venting. Not everybody will like this.

the collar rides very high which I like as my neck is a cold point for me, it also has anti scratch chin lining.

The wrist gaiters are the best, I use this jacket for photography and you would be surprised how well those gaiters keep my hands a little extra warm when my gloves are off, talking of which, the cuffs are overly ample to get over gloves.

The exterior material is soft shell like and doesn't stiffen in cold temp.

The Powder skirt is the most secure i have used and combines with Norrona pants as well.

Patagonia Nano Puff Pullover Insulated Jacket - Men's

Patagonia Nano Puff Pullover Insulated Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 16, 2011

I own 2 of the Nano puff's. Pound for Pound its the best jacket out there.

Im 6'3" and 220 lbs-the Large fits me fine, even the sleeve length is generous. As stated on previous posts, its cut short on the waits to allow a harness.

My real use for this is to add as a layer to my shell. I have always preferred to buy a good solid shell that gives 3-4 season use and add a layer of insulation for Winter. Buying a sealed insulted jacket doesn't make sense as I only get to use it in Winter. In this regards the Nano Puff works great as it fits perfectly under my shell and can be stuffed into a pocket if needed.
