it all depends how tall he is really and his weight? If he is like 5 2 and 105 he could ski this if he is a small guy go check out some kid park skis he would love those to.

These would be your ski to bring out on a 12 plus day. These are really wide underfoot so you will not be able to make tight quick turns very easily,but you will not be sinking in any powder the sumo is 125 underfoot these are 132 it does not seem like a huge difference but it will be when skiing on groomers and tight areas. If you want a ski strictly for powder this is it tho.

I have a friend who did that and he loves them all he did was bend the brakes but he loves the preformence of it and thinks its the best

you will need to get a bladder.if you have had a camel back just use the bladder from that.Thats what i did it works great
