Westcomb who?! Not anymore.

Westcomb Vapor FX Hooded Jacket - Men's

Westcomb Vapor FX Hooded Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 March 5, 2009

Fantastic jacket with lots of great features! For starters, I am 5'9", weigh 160#, and generally wear jackets with a 39" chest. The medium fits perfectly-- just baggy enough to layer appropriately without feeling like I was skiing in a smock. There is plenty of room behind the collar with and without the hood up and with or without a helmet on. No choking this chicken! The "boulder cuffs" are a cool sleeve feature-- a thumb hole allow a inner-sleeve "wrist gaiter" to cover the gap not covered by gauntlet gloves. The inner media pocket is a bit measley and the exterior pockets are pretty huge. I wish they could have shared the love on that one, as well as added, potentially, a pass pocket on the sleeve or another center-chest pocket. The powder skirt works well, as is evidenced by lack of diaper rash after last Wednesday's 30" Snowbird romp. The thing is stlyish and the eVent worked like a champ. This is my first Westcomb purchase and I'm recommending it.

Nice Drawers!

Craft Stretch Back Pants - Men's

Craft Stretch Back Pants - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 April 19, 2006

These pants are fantastic. They work beautifully, as advertised, and were super comfortable in conditions ranging from 10 to 35F. For your info, the size medium will fit a 30in inseam and a 31in waist about perfectly. I love the suspender option, too. While it may be the style to have my boxers hanging out of the back of my jeans when I am clubbing downtown, it doesn't work so well on the skate track.

Performance AND comfort? Believe it!

Salomon Carbon Pro Skate Boot - Men's

Salomon Carbon Pro Skate Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 20, 2006

It is not often that one puts on ski boots of any kind to find they fit like a pair of slippers. These are just such boots! Everything abut the Carbon Pro Skate says performance and responsiveness. They are lightweight, incredibly comfortable (even on the first lap around the track), and easily adjusted to counter a foot that has some odd dimensions. I found that these were better suited to my average feet than were the high end Rossi boots. If you do end up with these they'll fit so well that might want to wear them out to dinner.
