Love this shirt -- the fabric has a nice waffle texture that I wasn't expecting, which will make it extra-cool in the summer. It's nice and light, but not annoyingly see-thru like a lot of burnout tops. Might have to pick it up in a couple of other colors. Runs true to size.

Just spent a day in the blazing sun -- and the Castro hat proved to be the ideal headwear. Comfortable and cool, it really did feel like it was protecting me from the sun's rays. Looks great, too.

I am between an 8.5 and a 9, but I ordered a 9 in the XT Wings because I had some odd hot spots around the instep when I tried on the Salomon Mission shoes. The 9 is perhaps a tad bit large, but the fit around the heel and instep is so remarkable it doesn't matter. My heel is completely locked down and my instep is pretty well locked down, but the circulation to my toes is not affected at all. The fit in the forefoot is quite roomy, perhaps a tad bit too much so, but it just means that my foot is not touching anywhere, so I get a nice, natural feel. Cushioning is just right, not too squishy but enough to give me a little protection.

The Wren backpack is a lot more attractive in person than the photo would lead you to believe. Great hardware, great color (although the 'tan' is much closer to a light olive), great retro design, and not too big. It is, however, a little on the flimsy-feeling side; it seems well-put-together, but there isn't one bit of padding or reinforcement to protect stuff like a tablet or a small laptop. I picked up a padded laptop sleeve so I could carry a laptop in this; otherwise I would be afraid it would break the first time I set the pack down.

I ordered the S/M size, based on the size chart, it should have been just about right since I'm a women's 8.5-9. However it was waaay to big; I would guess that it would fit a men's 9-10 just about right. Too bad, it seems like quite a nice sock and it's very smooth on the foot.

There aren't too many bells and whistles on the Hoopie Dog collar, but the features that are there work wonderfully. I particularly like the large, easy-access ring for attaching the leash -- no more fumbling around! The idea of a separate ring for tags is great, too. I agree that this runs a little large, but it adjusts down easily enough.

I had hesitated to get this for my son because I was worried the welded seams wouldn't hold up to the abuse of ski racing training. But went ahead and did it anyways, and am very glad I did. He has had no problems with durability and is very glad for the warmth on cold afternoons on the mountain. The fit of the L is pretty much perfect for him (5'11", 180) and he really likes the soft, comfortable feel. Now my other son is begging for one.

These goggles perform very well and integrate perfectly with POC helmets. The frame is pretty flexible so it sits comfortably on the face. The black frame/blue bronze lens is a good all-around choice for a variety of conditions; my son picked up a single lens Iris Comp lens that he can pop in for snowy/cloudy days.

My son who is 5'11', 190 was swimming in the large -- between the big cut and the boxy shape, decided it needed to go back. Nice jacket otherwise, though -- looks like it will be very weather-resistant, particularly good for Northwest-type conditions.

Got this for my son, who needed just a basic hoody - and it's far better than expected, especially at this price. Very soft fleece, good fit - no complaints. He's 6 ft. 185 so we got the XL because he wanted something that was loose-fitting.

Great hat - very warm, comfortable, and I get tons of compliments when I wear it. Wish there were more colors to choose from, I'd get several!

After getting one pair, I had to have more - picked up one in each color! This is a great sock, nice and lightweight but still surprisingly warm and comfortable. At this price, you can't beat it.

I wish I'd followed the advice of the other review -- it really does run large. It's so nice, though, I'm returning it for the small size. Very classy hat.

I wasn't so sure about these when I pulled them out of the box -- that signature Keen look with the big toe bumper and extra-wide forefoot still just looks kind of odd to me. But I guess that is what my foot has been craving, because once I put them on -- amazing. They are so ridiculously comfortable, I've been wearing them non-stop since. If you're someone that spends all day on her feet, you'd have to be crazy not to get these. The other reviewer is right, they're a little tight at the top of the foot (I have a high arch), but they do seem to be loosening up, so I'll be able to wear slightly heavier socks with them soon. I switch back and forth between an 8.5 and a 9, depending on the brand, and the 8.5 fit just right.

Solid, sturdy, good-looking and comfortable -- what more could you want from a school pack? It also somehow manages to hold a lot more than you think it would by looking at it from the outside ...

This bladder seems to work well, and I certainly can't argue with how easy the wide opening makes filling and cleaning, but I did have issues on a recent race that was a 7-mile MTB climb. I nearly passed out trying to suck the water out of the bladder--the choice was either to stop and hold it overhead, or go without. I don't know if I did something wrong, or was just sucking too much wind to be able to pull the water, but it was disappointing. I'm going to give it another try to see if I can figure it out.

Being able to carry liquids is important to me, so while this pack seemed really solid and well-put-together, the hydration features were not where I want them to be. The sleeve was really small and kind of flimsy, and I could not locate a port anywhere. It ended up going back, but if you're looking for a solid winter pack, it's worth considering.

I got this for our teenaged son; once this was up in the back yard, our house became THE place to hang out -- the kids love it, and it goes anywhere they do.

I usually can't wear flip flops because having the post between my toes bugs me so much, but that is not the case with these! I could wear them for hours on end with no problem, they're so comfortable. My only regret is that I didn't size down a half size, but it's a minor concern.

I needed a basic fleece, and this more than fits the bill. It's super-soft so it feels nice against my skin, and it's warm without feeling like its smothering me. Best of all, my 13-year-old (!) commented that it looked good on me!

My son picked this up before a trip to New York and loves it - super comfortable, lightweight, and just a little different from the ubiquitous skate shoe. Never had a bad experience with a Simple shoe in this household!

I got this top because I really liked the V-neck version. I think I still prefer the v-neck because this collar seems kind of high, but it still delivers great performance. This particular one seems to smell a little 'woolier' than my other Stoic tops, but not enough to bother me. Overall, I'm sold on the all-weather use of wool tops!

This sandal is all right, but it's not great. Moderately comfortable, just slightly supportive. Part of the problem may be that it runs large; you definitely want to size down 1/2 size.

My husband discovered this pant about four years ago and it pretty much became all he wore. He got pretty excited when he saw some on this site, since his were starting to wear out. When they arrived I couldn't understand how he could possibly wear them, they're so stiff, but he just happily put them on and has been wearing them since. It's a guy thing, I guess.

I take my laptop to and from work every day and travel with it, too -- I was looking mostly for a tote or sling-type back, but something I could carry like a backpack when I'm biking to work or running through the airport. This bag fit the bill perfectly! I have the straps tucked into the back panel most of the time so I can just grab the bag and go, and then just pull them out when I need them. It was the perfect carry-on for a weekend trip to Boston - just enough space for everything I needed for traveling, and everything was easy to get to. There are a ton of pockets in this, too -- a nice fleece-lined one inside, and the outside pocket actually has a number of different compartments so you can organize your stuff. A great buy!

This was my first experience with an ultralight-type puffy -- very impressive. Between the high-quality down and the Pertex material, this jacket feels like nothing on, but is way warmer than my bulkier, lower-quality down jacket. I wear it on the slopes with my Arc'teryx Gamma MX softshell, and I'm feeling no cold, even in temps in the teens. My only comment about the design is that it does run fairly long - the bottom peeps out of the hem of the Gamma MX, which, as far as I can tell, is one of the longer softshells out there. Definitely wouldn't work to layer it with the Stoic softshell, which looks like it's cut fairly short.

I bought this hat to put in a White Elephant gift exchange, and then did what I needed to to make sure I got it back! Great beanie -- it's warm, comfortable, and has the uncanny ability to go with just about everything in my wardrobe (the blue/yellow/grey).

Just the right size for taking along on vacation, this little kit has it all to protect your skin. I've used Beyond Coastal before and really liked it; we'll see if all the products in here measure up. The container was nice, although once you opened it up and pulled things out, it was hard to get them back in.

I wasn't sure what to expect with these boots -- but I love them! They're pretty snug and low-profile (so they don't look gigantic) but the fit is perfect--glove-like--so they're really comfortable. They have a nice supportive arch, too. I was afraid the relatively tread-less sole would be a problem in winter conditions, but it seems to be made of an especially sticky rubber. What I really love is that now I can wear the boot-cut jeans I have that have shrunk so that they're a little too short -- they now look just right with the sweet sweater cuff sticking out below them!

This jacket was a replacement for a much-loved lost Patsch -- great jacket. My son had grown, though, and while the L fit him very well, he wants to be able to wear a relatively heavy layer underneath on cold days on the hill - so we returned the L to size up to an XL. He is 5'10" (and growing, so we can't go wrong) and about 160lbs.

As another reviewer noted, it is pretty tight in the toebox -- the boot ran pretty much true to size lengthwise, but I returned it because I was concerned that the relatively narrow width would be an issue after a couple of hours on the trail. I am an 8.5-9 with a narrow heel and a semi-wide forefoot.
Otherwise, it was quite comfortable, to the point where I almost kept it anyways...

I was really excited to get this fleece -- and when I pulled it out of the package -- it feels sooo nice! It looked great on, too, especially around the hips; the only problem for me was the collar. It's pretty high, and when I unzipped it to get it away from my chin, it just looked odd. Maybe I'm just too fashion-retarded, but I didn't like this feature so I returned the jacket. Too bad -- everything else was great!

I haven't had much of a chance to test this baby out yet, but so far it's getting the job done. Very light, comfortable, and looks pretty good on me -- what more could you want?

No complaints about this fleece - looks good, feels good, and is pretty warm. Very athletic-looking, runs a tad small but not too much.

I don't know how pants this warm can also be so light -- they feel like they're kind of floating on me, but when I head out for a pre-dawn walk in 35-degree weather, they're nice and warm. Even the wind doesn't seem to penetrate the outer face. Must get several more! Regarding size, I'd say these do run a little large -- I'm an 8 in Columbia, and these are almost too big. I'm keeping these for sure, but if I get another pair I might go with a small. Regular length just right for a 5'6" person.

I do not know how these pants can be so warm and substantial, yet so light, at the same time. They are amazing! Super comfortable, and I was warm on this morning's 35-degree run as if I were wearing my heavy sweats. The wind resistance is pretty impressive for the weight, too.
About the fit -- I would say they definitely run a litte big. I'm an 8 in Columbia-world, and the Medium feels like it is verging on being too big. Not quite, but almost.

I haven't taken these out on a hike yet, but they've been great for everything else -- comfortable, and always very crisp and together-looking. The Shale color goes well with just about every shirt I own, too.

This shirt looks good, feels great -- I like that it's nice and light so I can step out into the heat at lunchtime and not melt down, and then not return to work a sweaty mess!

I ordered these after a friend raved to me about her Olukai sandals, and I had to try them for myself. They're absolutely beautiful, and she's right, the comfort and arch support is incredible. Alas, I am not really a flip-flop person -- having that little strap between the toes bothers me. Sometimes I can get by it, but it was pretty noticeable in these. I've returned them, but am thinking of trying to find some Olukai sandals in a different style. BTW I'm an 8.5 and a 9 fit perfectly.

This is a comfortable sandal with a nice feel underfoot and decent arch support -- the only thing that bothers me is that sometimes I have to straighten out the straps after I put it on, but it really is pretty minor.

This shirt is super-soft, comfy, and looks great (especially love the sophisticated neckline). I'm ordering at least one more in another color asap.

I'm usually more or less a size 8-10 in pants, and I found the medium rather large. Since it was also a little shorter than expected, I'm returning it instead of exchanging it.

Love the fabric in these pants -- super light, so you can wear them on hot days without feeling it. I can't quite figure out what to do with the elastic drawstrings on the bottom, so I'm just going to ignore them. Otherwise, though, great fitting, great feeling pants -- I'll be living in them this summer, I can tell.

Super lightweight with a great feel, love it! I wore it this weekend on a bike ride on a hot sunny day -- had gotten terribly sunburned the day before and needed to keep the sun off my shoulders at all costs. I wore this as a jersey, and did not overheat at all, contrary to my expectations. The meshy part does a great job of helping to keep you cool. It looks great on, too!

Really happy with this buy--great fit (really like the longer cut) and the fabric is very comfy--stretchy and cool. I got it in what I thought was the blue version, although it ended up being more green than blue. Nice, just not what I expected. If I liked the Fossil color more, I'd definitely get another one.

This pack is definitely on the large side, but since it will be toting art supplies on public transportation as well as a laptop, it's probably just right. Nice organizer pocket, and ample room for a larger laptop. The skinny straps are SUPER comfy--the fit feels just right. Not sure the bottle opener will get much use, but you never know.

I got this top in the white -- but am returning it because I'm not into see-through clothing. It feels nice, and fits well, but I got it for hot weather and don't want to have to wear something under it. Too bad! Maybe the print doesn't have this problem.

I bought this for my teenage son to replace the Spyder Patch jacket he lost (!), but I think we're returning it--because it's too nice! It's very heavy-duty (perhaps more than he had in mind) and will clearly keep the wearer warm in very windy, chilly conditions. It's also very slick-looking, very urban -- can definitely see it working very well as an everyday city jacket througtout the winter. So, all in all, a great-looking jacket, just more than a teenager needs. His one technical objection was that the hood really isn't helmet-compatible, and he was planning on wearing his softshell skiing on warmer days.

This is a great spring/summer layer -- nice and light, not too heavy. The cotton is very soft and it's got great stretch, too. I wasn't expecting details like the shiny chrome zipper, but I dig it. Definitely a good buy.

Love this top--it feels nice and light, and looks great; flattering fit and it's not see-through, which is often a problem with shirts this light. I just wore it to a semi-formal occasion and it fit right in no problem -- nice to know I can wear it for sporty events, too! I just wish it came in more colors!

I bought this in brown for work -- great style, very comfortable, but it does tend to run small. I'm usually a medium but the large does gap very slightly. Otherwise, very happy with the purchase.

I bought a couple of socks for my ski racer son, and while they do the job fine he does complain that they're a little stiff and scratchy. Not sure how to rate the moisture management since the insides of his boots always end up sopping, anyways.

I bought these for my daughter to replace her skanky, falling-apart UGGs that she completely wore into the ground. Although the is insanely picky, she really likes them. What she doesn't know is that when she doesn't wear them to school I grab them and wear them to work! I love these boots--might have to get a pair for myself. Sizing down is definitely the way to go -- they were a little snug straight out of the box, but after only a couple of weeks they feel like they've stretched to fit.

I got these glasses for my daughter for her birthday, and she's really psyched about them. I went with these over the original Wayfarers because she has a pretty small face and it seems like the proportions would be better. They fit her well and have that chunky Wayfarer look but don't overwhelm her features.

I bought these goggles for my 15-year-old son - figured if he was would on the slopes daily he needed good ones. He loves them! They're really comfortable, fit really well with his POC Skull X helmet, and the optics are great. Of course, he likes the way they look, too.
