Voile Insane Ski

Voile Insane Ski

I took my AT set up to the resort today for more DH testing. The Insane carve remarkably well. The short radius hooks up very nicely. Much better than I expected. A very fun ski to ride. Just keep the pressure on the front half of the ski.

Voile Insane Telemark Ski

Voile Insane Telemark Ski

I've got 3 AT days on them and they have exceeded all my expectations. They are super light on the climb, but nice & stiff on the decent. I'm 6'1" and riding the 171. Plenty of float, and very easy to turn on the switchbacks. If I destroy them on rocks, I'll buy another pair without hesitation.

Dynafit ZZero 4 C-TF Alpine Touring Boot

Dynafit ZZero 4 C-TF Alpine Touring Boot

Rating for this product: 5 October 23, 2007

I went to the retail store and tried on a lot AT boots. I was looking for the lightest & flexiest boot for climbing and yet a boot that would lock down and feel like an Alpine boot on the decent.

This the boot that won out. I've skied it several days and it's pretty much perfect. You'll have to get the liner heat molded for comfort, but it's well worth it.
