Although these are way too expensive, they will exceed your expectations. Very good for resort and backcountry. Your friend will envy you. These bibs work well with a harness.
I highly recommend these over anything else on the market. Buy these over the Minuteman and Theta LT. These have more reinforcement (thicker material) and seem more durable.
