Oakley Arrestino Pant - Men's

April 13, 2010

I have XXL Oakley pants and an XL Oakley jacket. The snaps for the powder skirt match up perfectly, but the zipper does not line up at all. I'm not sure if these pants are even compatible with the Oakley zip system, so if you're just using the snap system, then you should be fine.

Oakley Mystic Jacket - Men's

Oakley Mystic Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 12, 2010

This jacket is top quality construction. It will keep you dry on the wettest days. The fit is a little too baggy. You would probably be alright going a size down. I did, and it's still a little too baggy, but it's supposed to be a loose fit jacket. Overall, it's really durable and waterproof.

Oakley Mystic Jacket - Men's

January 12, 2010

This will get you through a wet or stormy day while staying dry on the inside no problem. You probably want to go at least 10K on any jacket to keep you dry on stormy days.

Oakley Mystic Jacket - Men's

January 12, 2010

Probably large. I'm 6' 5", 220 pounds and the xl is a little too big, but the large might be a little too snug. hope that helps.

Oakley Mystic Jacket - Men's

January 12, 2010

This is just a shell with no liner. It keeps you somewhat warm because it blocks the wind out so well. But it has no insulation whatsoever.

Durable and warm

Outdoor Research Cornice Mitten

Outdoor Research Cornice Mitten

Rating for this product: 5 January 12, 2010

These mitts are durable and really warm too. On the warmer days, you're better off taking out the mitten liner and using a thin glove liner instead.

Not a 17" laptop pocket

Mountain Hardwear Enterprise Backpack - 1900cu in

Mountain Hardwear Enterprise Backpack - 1900cu in

Rating for this product: 4 January 12, 2010

Everything seemed great about this backpack - the durability and all of the pockets. The tech specs say this has a 17" laptop pocket. However, the laptop sleeve barely fit my laptop that measures 15" wide. The edge of they pack had to be pulled tight around the corners of the laptop.

Black Diamond Ascension Nylon Split STS Climbing Skin

November 26, 2009

Width (untrimmed) - 160mm
Weight Per Pair (untrimmed): 708 g, 1 lb 9 oz
Also, dont know the width of the "non-skin" strip in the middle, but the material is nylon and it is actually quite durable. I've seen these and if I had to guess, I would say the nylon center strip is roughly 2 inches wide without measuring.

Black Diamond Ascension Nylon Split STS Climbing Skin

November 26, 2009

I believe these are supposed to fit skis over 110mm at the waist and up to 160mm. So with a little trimming with the included tool, you should be just right.
