Patagonia Primo Jacket - Women's

Patagonia Primo Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 January 13, 2005

After skiing in this jacket during one of the most heavy, wet snow-storms I've experienced in UT, I discovered one glitch. The zipper doesn't go all the way up the neck cuff, probably to avoid chaffing. Velcro is used to close the neck up, but when it gets wet and snowy it's useless. Kind of a problem if you ski in stormy conditions. Other than that, it kept me dry and warm.

Great jacket!

Patagonia Primo Jacket - Women's

Patagonia Primo Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 December 29, 2004

If you have been searching for a technical, lightweight, goretex jacket with minimal bulk...this is it. This jacket is comfortable while wearing a pack, the sleeves have zero bulk and are easy to adjust, the neck and collar are warm and comfortable without any chin irritation or draft. I couldn't be more impressed with this jacket--even in snowy, windy conditions.

Rossignol T3 Telemark Ski

Rossignol T3 Telemark Ski

Rating for this product: 4 December 9, 2004

Rode this ski for the first time yesterday in about 7 inches of new fluff. Great ski for these conditons. Got to test in in a couple of really deep wind-drifts and this was the only place I would have preferred a little less side-cut. Surprisingly responsive and snappy at high-speeds on the groomers considering how soft it is. Great all-around ski for your quiver but maybe not for the super deep days.

Rottefella Cobra R6 Binding

Rottefella Cobra R6 Binding

Rating for this product: 5 December 9, 2004

I went in with my doubts based on what others have said about Rottefella bindings. Just goes to show you should try everything out for yourself. These bindings rocked! Super responsive and excellent tension. Felt completely secure bombing through steep, deep powder. These felt very similar to the G3 Roxy which is also another fantastic binding.

What's all the hype about???

Black Diamond O2 Telemark Binding

Black Diamond O2 Telemark Binding

Rating for this product: 1 November 1, 2004

I did not care for this binding. I am a lightweight, aggressive skier and did not understand what all the hype was about. I could definitely feel the under-foot cables even w/ a beefy plastic boot. Traded this binding in for the G3 Roxy which is the best binding that I've tried.

G3 Targa Roxy Telemark Binding

G3 Targa Roxy Telemark Binding

Great binding for agressive skiers with small feet. I had a hard time finding a binding that held my toe in place and felt secure in agressive turns--until I tried the Roxy. LOVE THIS BINDING!!!
