Osprey Packs Stratos 24 Backpack - 1300-1700cu in

September 12, 2009

I know I asked the question, but I couldn't wait. I had to buy the pack. Choose free shipping, and as usual arrived within 48 hours of ordering. Yes a SLR will fit. Mine fits even in its own case.

Hands Down Best Messenger Bag I Have Come Across

Osprey Packs Torque Courier Bag - 1200cu in

Rating for this product: 5 September 8, 2009

This is a great bag! Construction and materials are unsurpassed. My first Osprey product; I will be ordering the second within the next day or so. It is much bigger than anticipated, with a computer, there is still a good 6-8 inches of space left inside. If I had to complain about something it would be the padding. It doesn’t have all that much padding between the computer and the ground, but I am very anal about my electronics. I am sure for most it would be fine. If worst came to worst you could cut a small strip of closed cell foam and put it at the bottom of the compartment. As long you don’t drop it more than 8-10 feet it will be fine the way it is. I would buy it again, and highly recommend to a friend. (Pic: 14" notebook)

Osprey Packs Stratos 24 Backpack - 1300-1700cu in

Would a SLR (Nikon D40) fit in the upper part of the main compartment, or does the arch of the Aircore not allow this?
