I'm 5'6, about 140lbs and wondering what size to get. I need this to fit over 3 layers including fleece, zip-t, shirt/baselayer without being too tight. I was leaning towards the medium. Do they run big at all?

The North Face Pumori Fleece Jacket - Men's

I'm taking a trip to patagonia soon and need a mid or expedition weight fleece that can be layered. I'm a bit over 5'6 about 140 lbs and was looking at either this or the Khumbu fleece. I am leaning towards the Pumori, but it needs to fit over 2 layers (zip-T and lighter baselayer) and under a Marmot hard shell. My sizing says I should be on the small end of medium, but do these run big?
