Sole Ed Viesturs Signature Edition Footbed

Sole Ed Viesturs Signature Edition Footbed

The heat and fit works great. I was lucky and did not have to trim at all (size 12US / 46EU). The heel does take more room and is a ton stiffer than stock insoles so hopefully you sized up on the boot. I have a rebuilt ACL + microfratcure repaired knee & my Montrail Torre GTXs would give me a ton of lingering knee pain after anything 1 hour plus on the trail. Sharp contrast to Montrail Hurricane Ridge - no pain & the ultimate crappy weather run shoe. I've tried the Viesturs soles in both my Torre's and Sportiva Makalu - perfect fit in both. I now have a great, custom, cushioned fit, but it's not squishy & feels like it will last. Time will tell.

I'm 6' 0" and wear a large. Side pockets hold and give ez access to 2x full size nalgene. Zippers & pulls are not junk - main zip is slow due to waterproof. Great all around day pack for all conditions.
