The North Face WindStopper Ear Gear

The North Face WindStopper Ear Gear

Rating for this product: 1 January 15, 2010

..

If North Face builds it, we will buy it.

Well, I bought the Windstopper. I like the material which blocks the wind!

But the elastic bands on the top and the bottom of this 'Ear Gear' hurt my ears!! The only way I can wear this item is by putting it over another headband so that the underlying headband acts as a cushion.

This may be just me - I don't see anyone else mentioning this in the reviews. Try as I may, and as much as I'd like, I can't wear this item by itself!

Aire Lynx I Inflatable Kayak

October 31, 2009

Hi! I am interested in using an inflatable kayak on a trip in which I will be on the ocean. Are some kayaks' material better suited for the ocean? Or is there something that you do to make the kayak "ocean-ready," some sort of sealant or something you would apply?
