Salomon XA Pro 3D Ultra Trail Running Shoe - Men's

I would suggest the xt wings for a little extra width, but if your set on these I wera an 8.5 in both Salomon and Asics (DS trainers). I have a fairly narrow foot and it is easy to over tighten these and not notice until your foot starts to hurt. These are still awesome I just tighten them up and back the laces off a little

So BC suggests race day use. How long will they hold up under super intense trail work? ie steep, rocky hill repeats, streams/rivers, trails that might not be actual trails?
