  • Stomping Grounds:

Salt Lake City. The Bird. Moab.
  • Bio:

Hey I'm a gear junkie from SoCal living in Utah for a while. I might never leave! When I'm not riding a road bike or a mountain bike, I'm camping, hiking, trail running, or climbing-Utah has the best playground for it ALL. In the winter I board with my buddies at Snowbird with an occasional trip to Mammoth Lakes. I work at Backcountry.com because its a job that allows me to help other gear aficionados and enthusiasts find what they need. The number one question we get is "do you use this?" Yes, we use the gear we sell.
I'm currently a student at the University of Utah pursuing my Business degree. I volunteer at Splore.org and work at backcountry.com as a gearhead and in merchandising in our Park City office.

    Random Fact:
I am a professionally trained chef.

Awesome Bag

Deuter AC Lite 20 Backpack - 1200cu in

Deuter AC Lite 20 Backpack - 1200cu in

Rating for this product: 5 November 5, 2009

This bag is sweet with its simplicity and space to hold my junk. I took this hiking and mountain biking at Moab. It doesnt have the hydration bladder but I could stick my own in if I wanted. It has a waterproof sleeve to cover the pack if needed. The back panel is extremely nice for keeping the pack directly off the back and giving plenty of ventilation for the hot weather. Lightweight and perfect for day hikes.
