This is an amazing boot for ripping big bowls and tearing around in the trees. The boot is very responsive at speed, with the more you give the more you get. Comfortable with a wide last and internal lace up system.

The only reason I give this boot a 4/5 is its back country capabilities are not on par with its skiing ability. The walk feature works, but requires a lot of loosening in order for it to be noticeable. Also the advertised rubber bottom is only in the arch of the foot and does not contact the snow and ice very well. This makes it grip just like most ski boots do.

Overall I would recommend this boot to someone who likes to ski big lines all day long and wants the option to hike into the back country but lifts are still their preferred mode of transportation.
