Looks great and smart in black. My son hates the really puffy-looking jackets so he wanted something relatively thin. He would need to wear another layer like a fleecy underneath in the worst of a mid-west winter.

The problem here was the sizing. I ordered what seemed a size up based on the Backcounty size chart but I guess this is not the same as the Spyder size chart. The Large ( size 16 for an average 14 year old boy) was an inch short at the sleeves.
I am reordering the XL now.....
