Stomping Grounds:
I love to ride Brighton! Especially on POW days. If its a sunny park day most likely you'll find me at The Canyons! Their park is so so so fun!

Burton Mutiny Jacket - Women's

There is 100 Grams of insulation so its fairly decent but on the thinner side... Granted you can get jackets that have upwards of 500 Grams. You will need to layer for sure as you should with any piece. How much is depended on how easily your body gets cold and what activity you are doing.
If you purchase some first layer and a bonded fleece you should be golden!

Burton Jeremy Snowboard
It is a flat camber board with a mid-wide waist width. It will for sure excel in POW and jumping. Jeremy rides his 159 for just that. If on an urban assault mission or resort day, he handles the 151, or 156.
You may also want to check out the Joystick and/or Custom V... both are rockered and much stiffer than the Hero.

http://www.backcountry.com/outdoorgear/Burton-Custom-V-Rocke
I ride a 157 joystick for pretty much everything. Jumps, POW under 2 foot, Rails, pipe... It has a super deep side-cut, a mid-wide waist width and ollies like a champ (as you know, ollie-ing a rocker takes a lil getting used to)
Jeremy's board is similar to a joystick in that they are both mid-wides with deep sidecut. They differ in the rocker. Kids that Ride Jeremy's board swear buy it!!! so, I don't think you could go wrong. I hear you on the one board versatility. Send, it, you'll be stoked!

Burton AK 15L Backpack
Suitable for a laptop, yes... made for one, no.
It has an internal shovel pocket that you could definitely slide a laptop into. (especially if it has a protective sleeve)
However, this bad is made to hike with, has a board, probe, and shovel carry.
very cool, and very durable. I use an AK pack on the daily, but am probably not the norm.

Burton Cherish Jacket - Women's
No, I would probably say stick to a small... unless you are on the larger side of small. It does have 60 grams of insulation so you shouldn't have to layer too too much underneath.
Maybe a bonded fleece and some thermals and you should stay toasty warm!
That is of course unless you live in an igloo... do you live in an igloo?

Burton North Star Full-Zip Hooded Fleece Jacket - Women's
3 days ago
That is correct, they do not have a zipper... However, the way the pockets work is they sit deep down. So, the entrance to the pocket is above and the pocket sits all the way down to the ribbing.
Unless someone is hanging you upside down by the toes and shakes you, I am confident you can feel secure about not having to lose anything :)

Burton Ultra Capstrap
No, it does not come with the "ladder" part of the strap. It is meant to be a direct replacement on any Burton binding that does not have a cap-strap.
However, most local shops carry the ladder pieces and will sell them to you for around $5.
On a separate note, most other companies toe straps can be adjusted should you want to use this on a Non-Burton binding. All you usually need is a pair of scissors or a knife... if you want it to look like an expert hack-job maybe use a dremel tool.
I have fitted many non-burton bindings with this strap!

It runs fairly true to size... at first it feels a little big, but then shrinks a tiny bit after washing/drying it. Now, it fits like a dream!

Burton LTD Heated Mighty Pant - Women's
November 12, 2009
Yes, it has Burton's universal pant feature package: Including Link Zip Jacket-to-Pant Interface
Other notables:
-DWR finished Fabrics (helps wick away moisture)
-Dryride fabrication (helps wick moisture keeping you dry)
-Pocket Key Clip (don't loose those keys in the snow!)
-Fully taped seams (again, bye-bye water -- and cold air)
- integrated waist adjustment (fits perfect every time!)
- Ticket-o-ring (gotta put that lift ticket somewhere)
- reinforced hems (come-on, we all sometimes step on our pants)
- boot gaiter with boot interface (click your pants to your boots to keep the snow out and your pants from turning to floods)
- snap up leg lifts (snap 'em up so you don't walk through that muddy parking lot and get them dirty!)
- zippered, mircofleece lined hand warmer pockets (mmm, warm!)
- thigh vents (some days its hot out! -- especially when you are rocking a fully heated pant)
- ghetto slits (sometimes you want to bell-bottom flare out the bottom. Keep your style in check)
- mircrofleece fly and waistband (noone wants rough stuff near their special parts)
One last notable -- Temp Settings and battery life goes as follow:
And yes, the review is correct, the ink in the fabric carries the heat
LOW - 85 degrees --- 4.5 - 5 hours of battery life
MED - 96 degrees --- 3.5 hours of battery life
HIGH - 110 degrees -- 2 hours of battery life (that is well over hot tub warmth!!!)

Burton Guardian Down Jacket - Women's
November 12, 2009
Okay, so I'm sure you checked out the Size chart.... but I placed it below just in case.
I do not know an exact inch measurement for the length. However, this jacket is a signature fit piece. (check out attached picture)--However since its a down, it will have an extra lil' length. If you want something longer look for a Team fit jacket as they have an extra 2+ inches. This down jacket is by no means short, but it does not have an extra 2+ inches.
My fiancee has this jacket and loves it, its super warm, soft hand feel, and according to her it "feels like a sleeping bag"
women's size chart____________xs____________s_____________m______________
Chest Size Fits To_________30 - 31"______32 - 33"_____34 - 35"_______35 - 36"_________37 - 38"_______

I know that didn't exactly answer your inches by length question, but its as close as I could come.

Burton Stroker Pant - Men's

My favorite choice for a slim!!! Fit is awesome, but it is pretty tight!
If you want something with an in-between slim and regular fit. Try the AG Gauge Pant.

Burton Pipe Glove - Women's
November 9, 2009
yeah, they are not super warm... I do know some kids that rock them year 'round however, those are the kids that never seem to get cold.
The attributes that I love most on these gloves are:
- the sticky-like palms (feel like something NFL players use to catch footballs)
- the great stretch (gives unbelievably dexterity -- your hand will never slide off that tail grab, again(
- and most obviously, the killer looks!

Burton Custom ICS Snowboard - Wide
November 8, 2009
The retro compatible disks are FREE and should have shipped with your board. Just ask for the disks... and you should be good to roll! You can always call Burton Rider Services at (800) 881-3138 and they can send some out to ya!
None-the-less, if you want that unprecedented board flex and feel, when you have the duckets, upgrade to some Burton EST binders... I guarantee your presses will thank you for it!

Burton Snowboard Binding Elevator
November 8, 2009
No, you cannot... The current risers do not currently work in association with the channel.
However, you can use ANY Burton, or recent Forum, bindings as long as you have the retro compatible disks that shipped with your stick.
In my personal opinion, you should drop some EST bindings on your channel board for unprecedented board flex and feel!

Burton Custom V-Rocker Snowboard
November 7, 2009
It is similar... yet different.
Differences are in the construction... banana-tech utilizes a radial rocker between your bindings that than extends to flat underneath you feet before your nose and tail kicks.
Burton's V-rocker Breaks once between your bindings then extending flat underneath your bindings (similar to Banana) but Burton's than breaks again, upward rocking after the channel and before your nose and tail kicks. (see the picture)
No matter which rocker you choose make sure that it has an edge technology so it doesn't feel all loosey goosey ... Magna traction on lib and Pressure distribution edges (or frostbite) on Burton are designed for the same purpose... Aggressive EDGE hold!
