La Sportiva Skylite 2.0 Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Good shoe overall, it very light and low to the ground. But I have a big problem with durability, after only 40 miles the fabric is showing already signs of distress, at the point where the rubber toe bumper meets the fabric a tear has developed...and it is getting bigger by the mile. I know by reading some reviews on line that other people experienced the same problem.
I was considering getting a pair of crosslite 2.0 but I think since they have the same upper construction, i'll have the same problem, so I'm not to sure now.
Without the durability problem with the upper, it would be a 5 star shoe in my book.

great trail runner

Vasque Mindbender Trail Run Shoe - Men's

great shoe, light, not minimalist light, but very light...the cushioning is spot on for me...not too stiff, not too soft. Put 200 miles on them and no sign of wear. The toe box is pretty roomy, so if you have low volume feet like mine you may want to use thicker socks. It is very ventilated and comfortable, I ran 13 miles out of the box and the shoes felt great, after every run my feet
feel as good as before the run.I wear same size 11 as on my other trail runners (asics), the shoe feels true to size. Overall a great product.

I'm thinking about getting the La Sportiva Wildcat shoe.

La Sportiva Wildcat Trail Running Shoe - Men's

I'm thinking about getting the La Sportiva Wildcat shoe. I'm currrently running in Asics Trail attack WR 5. They feel great and I have no problem with it. But I'm now looking for a more solid shoe with the same amount of couscioning and more durability. Will the wildcat do the deal? Size wise are they the same as Asics? Pros and cons compared to the Asics I'm using now? I'm 6-3 180, run 45 miles a week and planning to increase the mileage. Thanks
