CW-X Pro Tight - Women's

I caught my CW-X tights on a thorn today and tore a small hole in the tight - but not in the support webbing. Any ideas on how to repair the hole ?
Thanks

Has anyone thrown these in the dryer? The label says not to tumble dry and I was wondering why. They do dry fast, but would an occasional tumble dry be bad for the tights?

CW-X Performx Tight - Women's

I'm seriously thinking about getting a pair (or two) of CW-X tights, but don't quite know what size to order. I'm 176cm tall and weigh 75-76 kg. So, I fall into the grey area between the M and the L on the CW-X sizing chart. I carry my weight more in the thighs and hips and than in the upper body so I'm leaning toward the L. Can anyone confirm that choice?
