Smith Interlock Spoiler Sunglasses - Polarized

Very nice shades, best ive ever owned. The interlock is nice but i find i don't really use it, i could seeing it being nice if you messed up a lens. They fit really well, and don't move around much. I have noticed that they fog up a little easier than others, but nothing too bad. I was wearing these skate boarding and got hit by a car leaving a cut from where the glasses were, however i think they took some impact. During the crash part of the earpiece broke, but smith was chill to warranty it. Very solid shades from a very solid company

Saftey First

Giro Remedy S Comp Helmet

Giro Remedy S Comp Helmet

Rating for this product: 4 October 9, 2009

Alright i was sick of hurting my face skiing, so i bought this helmet. People may say things to you about it, but tell them to fuck off. If you think your going to be landing on your face or having your knees hit you in the face on a somewhat regular basis then buy the helmet. Its pretty comfy, and surprisingly warm. One bummer is that if you take a good fall in powder sometimes snow will become trapped right around your face, and it makes you feel like your suffocating, but its all right. The other bummer is the visor(you have to have the visor otherwise you look silly)breaks quite a bit and their usually $15, I broke mine three times in two seasons. Great helmet for saftey, and it looks funny when you blow smoke out of it.

DAKINE Heli Winter Backpack - 660cu in

DAKINE Heli Winter Backpack - 660cu in

Rating for this product: 5 October 9, 2009

This is the best resort pack ever. I had the Heli-pro before and i felt like it was too big and wasn't really form fitting. The Heli fits like a glove, very low profile but enough space to fit everything for a day the hill. I definitely need something else for back country, but for everything else this pack is great. The one thing im not sure about is the cable ski leash. When you put some fat skis in there it kind of clinches down the backpack. Its not really a big deal though.

V.I.O. POV.1 Camera Package

V.I.O. POV.1 Camera Package

Rating for this product: 4 October 9, 2009

Bought this last fall on a steep discount. I used about 20 solid days of skiing Big Sky last year. Overall Ive been really pleased with it. Its incredibly durable, im never worried about it getting wet. Its easy to use, the buttons take some force so you don't accidentally turn it off. I think the image quality is pretty good as well. However I would only recommend this if your going to give the camera abuse, otherwise you could probably get something cheaper. The one downside is that you have to buy the extra mounting kit from vio if you want the options, the basic mounts arent enough. Here's a link to a video I filmed last season with the vio http://newschoolers.com/web/content/viewvideo/id/272613/member_id/126918/

Got a good deal on these and I really like them. I think they fit a bigger face better than a smaller. Lenses are perfect for everyday use.

Orage Tj Pro Jacket - Men's

Orage Tj Pro Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 October 9, 2009

I got this on steep & cheap for like $80 a month ago, i was a little skeptical. However this jacket is sick, especially for the price. It has a good fit, I think the hood is perfect, and its pretty warm. Its definatley resort oriented, i wouldnt want to bring it out hiking because it is a little bulky. Anyways def a good deal for price.

Backcountry Access Alpine Trekker Adaptors

Backcountry Access Alpine Trekker Adaptors

Rating for this product: 2 October 9, 2009

Ok these are decent for the skier on a tight budget, but not for $179. I was given these by someone who was sick of them. Mine have broken twice both times at the toe piece. On the good side BCA has always been really cool to warrenty them. Still there heavy, time consuming, and they break. Just buy some Fritchis
