Arc'teryx Envoy Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 March 6, 2010

What they say is true, you get what you pay for. And when you pay for this shirt, you are getting the Arcteryx name and the associated attention to detail. The construction is top-notch, and the material is perfect for warm-weather traveling. I found the sizing to be consistent with regular clothing, but it is not necessarily slim fitting

Stoic Welder Hi Softshell Jacket - Men's

Stoic Welder Hi Softshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 6, 2010

This jacket is truly awesome, exactly like all of the other 46 people said. The fleece lining is toasty warm, the soft shell will repel anything short of a thunderstorm, and the gray and orange color combination looks great. You must size up, I'm 6'5", 225 and the XXL fits me like my other XLs. I got mine from geartrade.com for 80% off, I definitely recommend looking there first.

Great straps for a great price

NRS 1in Heavy-Duty Tie-Down Straps

NRS 1in Heavy-Duty Tie-Down Straps

Rating for this product: 5 January 27, 2010

These straps really do last forever, and Backcountry's prices are cheaper than if you were to get them direct from NRS.

If your head is not too big, this hat is quite amazing. It keeps my head toasty warm, and has a fleece lining for extra comfort.

Good Active Tee

Outdoor Research Swift T-Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Outdoor Research Swift T-Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 16, 2010

This t-shirt is super soft and performs very well. There is a pocket on the right side, the zipper pull hits my wrist if I swing my arm against my body, but that rarely occurs. It is about the size of my wallet, but I wouldn't stash anything bigger than some cash and a key in it, due to weight.

prAna Transformed T-Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 16, 2010

This shirt is well constructed and comfortable. The organic cotton doesn't have stretch like most normal shirts, but the fit is true to size.

Amazingly Comfortable and Warm

Horny Toad Iceman Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Horny Toad Iceman Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 13, 2009

This shirt is wonderful, very soft and warm. I believe it should be called a sweater or pullover, as it is thicker than most shirts. The only issue i have found is that the sleeves have multiple seams so the stitching causes a small amount of chafing, but that is a very minor gripe. As the review above states, the iceman truly is dangerously comfortable

The North Face Aconcagua Down Jacket - Men's

December 10, 2009

They have done a good job hiding it, but I'm fairly certain that it is zip-in compatible. The wrists have the little loops and snaps, which should mean that it can attach to certain TNF shells, but i am not certain, as I have yet to test it out.

Great Bag

Timbuk2 Classic Messenger Bag

Timbuk2 Classic Messenger Bag

Rating for this product: 5 December 10, 2009

This is an awesome bag, built like it will last forever. It is more expensive than most, but definitely worth every penny. I have the medium, and has plenty of room for my 13" laptop along with books and binders for class. The flap is seriously watertight, with four velcro strips and two buckles, it keeps out the worst Oregon has to offer. I highly recommend purchasing one of your own

The North Face Khumbu Fleece Jacket - Men's

December 2, 2009

I have it in black, and while it does pick up some lint, it is not terrible. A hearty shake will remove most of the visible bits. As for sizing, it depends whether you would like it to fit close or have a bit of room, but the medium would probably be your best bet.

Paddle in comfort

Kokatat Innercore Paddle Top - Short Sleeve - Men's

Kokatat Innercore Paddle Top - Short Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 December 1, 2009

This top is great, it performs exactly as advertised. Sun protection when it is warm and warmth when the sun is hiding. The only slight issue I have found is that the sleeves are an inch or so shorter than needed. It still fits well, but the cuffs ride up a little bit when paddling.

Stay dry with the Titan

The North Face Titan Jacket - Men's

The North Face Titan Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 November 16, 2009

I am 6'6", 230 and the XXL fits me perfectly, with a some extra room for layering. It is a good basic jacket, with two pockets to keep your hands busy and plenty of elastic to tighten it down when the weather gets rough. I got half-off from Department of Goods, not sure if it is worth the full 250, but overall, a very solid jacket.

Very Comfortable, Perfect Fit

Bridgedale Heel Fit Midweight Ski Sock - Men's

Bridgedale Heel Fit Midweight Ski Sock - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 16, 2009

I got a free pair of XL socks with my order on Department of Goods, and they are awesome. The price was great, but I would easily pay for them. I have large calves, but the fit isn't too tight, I have been wearing them all day with no problems. Top-Notch Socks.

Good Fit, Great Price

Kavu Chilliwack Pant - Men's

Kavu Chilliwack Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 16, 2009

I bought my pair of XL Chilliwacks on SAC, and couldn't be happier. I wear 38x34 normally, and they fit well in both directions, not too short on me. They seem to be well constructed and the material is strong yet comfortable. They are definitely fit for working or hiking through brush, though they are probably too heavy for normal backpacking

Does all it is advertised for a basic carabiner. I mainly use mine for rigging gear while whitewater rafting, and have not experienced any problems with water or sand gumming up the gate.

The North Face Boulder Jacket - Men's

The North Face Boulder Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 October 19, 2009

I am 6'6", 230 and this jacket fits well in the body, but the arms are somewhat tight. My arms are long and thin, and my other TNF jackets fit better, it seems to be peculiar to this model. Otherwise, this shell performs as advertised. Waterproof and not too heavy, it gets the job done

Review Title

The North Face Aconcagua Down Jacket - Men's

The North Face Aconcagua Down Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 October 19, 2009

This jacket is just perfect for the cooler days in the Pacific Northwest. I am 6'6", 230, and the XL fits well, with sleeves that are long enough for my arms. The pockets are located on the seam, but they feel naturally placed and are comfortably fleece-lined. Highly recommend it.
