Good fit

Mountain Hardwear Canyon Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Women's

Mountain Hardwear Canyon Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 January 23, 2010

Be careful with sizing, definitely best to try on in person to check size. Shirt is what you would expect, light, dries quickly, neat sun collar. Popular enough to catch on a good sale. Chose the Mountain Hardwear after trying the Exofficio version which was too constricting around the chest and too big on the waist, Canyon shirt fits fine.

As hoped for

prAna Stretch Zion Pant - Men's

prAna Stretch Zion Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 2, 2009

I really like the material, the nylon is a tough material that is still noisy (swish, swish) but has a feel closer to a cotton.. nothing like other cheaper nylon pants. They claim to be reinforced in the knees & seat, I don't see that really helping much if it exists; I don't feel it. Nevertheless, I love the fit (Medium) (5'11, 150lb), belt seems to function fine, favorite traveling pants I've ever tried, EDIT AFTER EXTENDED USE: Tough construction, great fit out of the medium for a 33"waist 32" length, Quick to dry on a clothes line. Maybe I'll get the shorts someday too. Only question is: Where's the loop for your chalk bag? Minor oversight. Choosing one pair of pants to travel the world, this is the one.

Fantastic

The North Face Impulse Pant - Men's

The North Face Impulse Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 23, 2009

I love these, just like the XTC base shirt, I've used these pants for 3+ years, I've biked 14miles to work daily, ran, poured rain on them, I use them under my jeans when I ride my motorcycle in the winter and they keep me very warm as a loose base layer. They still look great, and hopefully will last many more years. Spendy buggers, but great.

The North Face Venture Pant - Mens

November 23, 2009

Living in the northwest and riding year round, we get a lot of rain; they haven't failed me, but like Dave said, have warmer layers underneath. Good luck.

pretty good

The North Face Venture Pant - Mens

The North Face Venture Pant - Mens

Rating for this product: 4 November 23, 2009

I purchased these for a waterproof/windproof layer on motorcycle trips. They have worked really well, no warmth of course, but I stay dry, and they are very light, and don't suffocate my legs. I wish they were a little easier to remove with hiking boots on, but i would consider packing them hiking, if i found myself in a ridiculously high rain area. For the motorcycle application, they are great.

Lasted a few years

The North Face XTC Lightweight Crew Top - Long-Sleeve - Men's

The North Face XTC Lightweight Crew Top - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 23, 2009

This base layer has held up to a brutal beating over the years, good to keep warm, I wore it on a 2000mile motorcycle ride, Whitewater rafting, climbing, Hiking, always served great. 3 years later, its beginning to get loose threads here and there, label has worn off, but it never has odor, doesn't wrinkle, dries fast.

Awesome shirt

The North Face Sequoia Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

The North Face Sequoia Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 23, 2009

Great style, great travel/hiking shirt. I've washed it in the shower, dry it in a towel and its good to go in less than 2 hours. I bought 2. I really prefer it over the Mountain Hardwear canyon shirt, much better style for a young guy like myself, and on colder days i just layer under and over it. I'm 5'11 155lb. medium fits great.

The North Face Paramount Utility Pant - Men's

November 23, 2009

Absolutely, Just wash in a shower or whatever you have, roll them in a towel, and should be dry in a few hours depending on climate. The men's sequoia shirt by Northface has dried in an hour. I love it.

Pearl Izumi Elite Limited Edition Low Sock - Women's

Pearl Izumi Elite Limited Edition Low Sock - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 November 6, 2009

Just a basic pair of socks, I've purchased Pearl Izumi's running socks, loved them, but they had a much better construction than these. I agree with the other reviewer, overpriced for how they are constructed.

Perfectly matched what I wanted

Patagonia Barely Bra A/B - Women's

Patagonia Barely Bra A/B - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 November 6, 2009

This bra makes your breasts feel as if they are floating on clouds! You can't feel the bra hardly at all, and yet the support is divine (for me, a puny size A-B). Perhaps it wouldn't be enough for someone who prefers padding, wires, or stiff support but i feel very well supported in it, yet flexible for when i'm climbing, the most comfortable bra i have ever donned! Quick Drying, Simple, Great for Traveling, and Climbing.
