Dan & Heather's 1 carry-on for hiking world
Created November 23, 2009
The items listed are my minimalist approach to a 1 carry-on bag that supplied my month long trip to Peru, spanning over the whole country, and varied climate changes. I live off these items, so its very important they can be washed and dried quickly, layered for all weather conditions, and suit a variety of engagements. The idea of this list is to be able to layer when needed for very cold climates, and handle moisture with few troubles.

The North Face Venture Pant - Mens
November 23, 2009
Living in the northwest and riding year round, we get a lot of rain; they haven't failed me, but like Dave said, have warmer layers underneath. Good luck.

The North Face Paramount Utility Pant - Men's
November 23, 2009
Absolutely, Just wash in a shower or whatever you have, roll them in a towel, and should be dry in a few hours depending on climate. The men's sequoia shirt by Northface has dried in an hour. I love it.
