Great item - very useful, layer or alone

Stoic Luft Down Sweater - Men's

Stoic Luft Down Sweater - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 29, 2010

I purchased the Black Luft Down sweater with Red zippers. Although lightweight, it is warm. I like that it isn't too Michelin-man looking but keeps you warm. The red is a nice offset to the mostly black item; gives it more of a sports look.

The fleece lined pockets are welcome and the fact that they are on the inside of the down means you have the option of skipping the gloves if you are just running around as the pockets keep your hands very comfortable.

On dry cool/cold days I wear it alone, and on very chilly wet days I use it under a shell.

6'2", 155lbs, athletic build - ordered the large. Not too bulky and the sleeves are long enough b/c of the built in wind cuffs.

Backcountry.com Titanium Spork

Backcountry.com Titanium Spork

Rating for this product: 4 January 7, 2009

Very sturdy. I've used it a bit but can't comment on long term wear; I think its pretty cool so far. The Fork part pokes things pretty well but of course it has Spork limitations when spooning thin liquids. Well worth the price to have all your utensils in one indestructable place though.

A very good beginner/intermediate shoe

La Sportiva Cliff Rock Climbing Shoe

La Sportiva Cliff Rock Climbing Shoe

Rating for this product: 4 November 22, 2004

This shoe is holding up nicely and is good for those who have not yet built up climbing feet. You cannot feel the holds like you would with slippers or a thinner shoe, but for me this is not necessarily a bad thing as my feet are very sensitive. I have climbed ~3 times a week at our University's wall and find the shoes very comfortable to wear continuously, although they need to be purchased rather small as they stretch appreciably.
