Rossignol B-Squad 110 Sensor3 Ski Boot - Men's

Rossignol B-Squad 110 Sensor3 Ski Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 1, 2009

So far I have around 7 days on these boots skiing mostly groomers with some bumps and heavy pow mixed in. First off, these boots are super comfortable. with a 100mm last they are wide enough for my medium-wide feet and the thermo-molding makes them the most comfortable boots I have owned. In terms of performance, they seem almost as responsive as my Lange race boots, but with a slightly softer flex. however the lateral rigidity is such that you can put your skis on edge and these bad boys will hold it in almost any condition. In softer snow, the soft flex adds to the fluidity of the motion. All in all just a great boot!

Black Diamond Verdict Ski

October 29, 2009

So I have been riding some BD Havocs for the past few years with some Garmont Megarides. Looking to step up to a fatter ski. Will the Megarides be stiff enough to ski the Verdicts? Or would the Verdicts be skiing me?

Pieps Freeride Avalanche Beacon

October 5, 2009

I agree, a BCA Tracker is more expensive but much easier to use and more reliable. If you are only out 2-3 days a year, the last thing you need is to try and remember how to use the thing when your buddy is buried and you're freaking out. Practice with any beacon is important, but I was able to teach my 10 year old brother how to use my tracker in about a minute. Remember, if you have to actually use this beacon, it will be to save someone's life, get something you can use confidently. If you can, try out a few and then make the decision.
