Great little lantern

I got this lantern to illuminate my tent at night and it did so perfectly. Took it on a 5 day trip to Moab and it was plenty bright for my 3 person tent. The metal loop at the top has an extra bend to act as a hook that let me hang it from my tent gear loft. On the brightest setting it was enough light to read from comfortably. On the dim setting it was enough light to look around the tent for shoes or whatever else you need to grab in the dark. Perfect for my needs.

The North Face Base Camp Duffel Bag - 2560-4395cu in

This bag is bomber. I got a Large for my up coming trip to south africa. It will be more than big enough to hold my sleeping bag, pad, shoes and clothes for a 3 week trip. While not waterproof the fabric will keep out the rain. I like that there are multiple ways to carry the bag (back pack style, over the shoulder or by hand) and it has straps to cinch it down to size when its not stuffed.
