The PERFECT sack for sleeping pads.

Therm-a-Rest Waterproof Stuff Sack

Therm-a-Rest Waterproof Stuff Sack

Rating for this product: 5 October 1, 2009

I already had a sleeping pad that came from another supplier (sorry Backcountry- but you WILL be getting all my future business!) When originally purchased, the pad did not come with a sack. The company I got the pad from was zero help with getting a proper stuff sack. I needed one to be waterproof, because the pad was going to be strapped to my motorcycle on a week-long trip. I had a couple days of heavy rain. Even at high speed in pouring rain, my pad was completely dry each night!

Great stuff sacks

Sea To Summit Seam Sealed Stuff Sack

Sea To Summit Seam Sealed Stuff Sack

Great for separating gear. NOT totally waterproof if fully submerged, but they are not intended to be dry bags. I used really small bungee cords to compress these and that worked well.

Klean Kanteen Water Bottle - 27oz

Klean Kanteen Water Bottle - 27oz

I just got into using a stainless water bottle. I got this one for a motorcycle trip. I slid it down inbetween gear in my saddlebags on my bike. It does its intended job and water tastes great out of it.

Eagle Creek Pack-It 2-Sided Half Cube

Eagle Creek Pack-It 2-Sided Half Cube

Rating for this product: 5 October 1, 2009

I bought a couple different sizes of the Eagle Creek 'Pack-It' products. I originally bought them to organize and separate clothing and gear on a motorcycle trip. They worked great for that! All my clothing could be rolled up and one cube went in each saddlebag. The smaller ones work great for other items. Flashlights and other small gear in one, extra gloves and a pair of nylon shorts in another. For an overnight or weekend trip- they are fantastic. Separate your clothing in 2 of these, and slide them in a small backpack and you are good to go. I will be using these for backpacking as well.
