Only for average hikes

KEEN Targhee ll Hiking Shoe - Men's

KEEN Targhee ll Hiking Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 September 27, 2009

Targhee II is a very comfortable shoe for normal hiking but one has to be very careful while hiking in the mountains on the wet rocks or going down the gravel like surface. The shoes slip a lot. A long hike down the mountain on intensly downsloping trail could be quite unconfortable in these shoes. I had to get a replacement pair because the stiching on one shoe completely opened only after 5 hikes. Otherwise they are great for normal trails.
