Mad Rock Con-cept Climbing Shoe

Mad Rock Con-cept Climbing Shoe

Rating for this product: 4 January 19, 2010

Just got these about a month ago. I purchased them to climb mainly outdoors but winter in the midwest isn't is condusive to that. I have climbed a great deal indoors on them however. The toe isn't too aggressive but its design really digs in to the over hang routes. The heal is great and the toe is amazing. Just worked a roof problem yesterday and and i have never had a easier toe hook. The only problem is the sole. It is very sticky but it is soft rubber. If you are just edging and crack jamming then this is a great multipurpose shoe if sized correctly. When you are standing on something other than jibs the 2.2mm thick center section of the sole is more uncomfortable than a normal 4mm sole. If they put a normal sole with this rubber on the shoe then it would be perfect. Good buy though
