Sorel 1964 Reserve Boot - Women's

August 31, 2010

This is the high end (fashionable) version of a sorel winter boot. You can get sorels for about 110 that aren't as "cool" looking but are still pretty awesome. Since they have started making them in China I have noticed reviews saying that the waterproofing isn't as good. I love this boot, and it used to be 450 not 250, so if you have the money, thats a great deal. If not, buy the more reasonably priced ones. The Reserves are for richies

Sorel 1964 Pac T Boot - Men's

January 17, 2010

I say you should get the women's tan caribou. I have tried them on and they are surprisingly good looking for having such a good sole. I wish I had gotten them! Check em out before you resort to buying men's sizes, you will like them

Sorel 1964 Pac T Boot - Men's

January 17, 2010

I have heard that SOREL hasn't made their boots very well since they started making them in China. Pretty depressing if you ask me. Who Doesn't make their products in China anymore? What do people have to do to get high quality nowadays?

Sorel 1964 Pac T Boot - Men's

Sorel 1964 Pac T Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 17, 2010

Got em for my boyfriend this winter to walk the dog with since it gets to -20 around here and we get a good amount of snow and his hiking boots are about to fall apart.

He says they are Good in the snow, keep his feet warm, however not good for walking long distances as there is no structure to them, they bend in and rub the back of his ankle.

Merrell Astoria Apres Boot - Women's

Merrell Astoria Apres Boot - Women's

Well, I have worn them every day that I am not at work, What a great feature to be able to tie them as tight as you want then be able to leave them that way forever because you can use the zip part.

I have thrown a cute top on and worn them to the bar, I have worn them on mild hike/walks in the woods, they have Amazing tread, they almost fool you for hiking boots! (Don't do it though because they weren't designed that way and they have the potential for some serious blisters if you use them as hiking boots.

I absolutely love them so far though, the real test will be this winter when its freezing out and wet, how they withstand the moisture and how warm my tootsies stay!

I will comment again in March!
