Perfect for me

Outdoor Research Elixir Jacket - Men's

Outdoor Research Elixir Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 October 28, 2009

I've had this jacket for over a month now, and not a minute to soon, as it has rained pretty much every other day in Central Arkansas (or is this the Pacific Northwest?) It is replacing a Patagonia H2No shell, which kept me dry for years, but was uncomfortably clammy. This jacket breathes sufficiently, and keeps me completely dry. The XL fits me well, with room for layering, at 6', 220 lbs. (okay, 230 haha). I've also had the unfortunate chance to test the worthiness of the ripstop fabric on some nasty sawbriars, it punctured but did not tear as I jerked my way free. I would strongly recommend this shell to a friend.
