La Sportiva Glacier EVO Mountaineering Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 October 17, 2009

They are very comfy and light boots. I tried it out for a 2 h hike around the town before going on a big trip to Mt Rainier. The boots did not hurt me at all although I had a 40+ lbs backpack and hiked up 4.5 miles with a 4600 ft elevation gain; so they did not need a break-in period. Crampons were very comfortably fitting on the boots. I treated the leather with a conditioner after purchasing it and gladly they did not got wet when passing through glaciers. I need to note though that my feet are 35.5 and I needed to buy a pair of 38; the sizing is off.
