thankfully I have not needed to use this ever, but it is always in my pack. It is light as a feather, and the thin profile makes it easy to stash anywhere.

no complaints with this shovel for over a year. I think my next shovel might have a D-grip handle instead, as I feel those give you a little more shoveling power...but other than that its strong, light, and easy to pack.

K2 Apache Outlaw Alpine Ski

um...short for Japan? what does that really mean? I skied in Japan for 3 years, and picked up my 180 V-explosiv skiis (96mm waist) while I was there (I am 5'8", 170)...perfect ski for meHow tall are you? Are you an aggressive skier?Personally, I am not a fan of skiis that are too short. I won't go shorter than 180 at this point...

over all a decent cap...although the fit is a bit awkward for my head...I got the s/m size, and if I put it on all the way it covers my eyes
