Works says I can only wear leather dress shoes... boo. Oh wait, nevermind I have these Sanuks. Happy feet... check!

-- With the leather, these run a half size smaller than typical Sanuks for me.

Chaco ZX/2 Unaweep Sandal - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 October 18, 2011

Bought these for the girlfriend and she absolutely loves them. I rarely see her wearing her other shoes these days. great for hiking or just kicking it. They do have a mid-high arch, so if you have flat feet, try them before you buy.

Marker Duke 16 Ski Binding

December 16, 2009

Get smalls for you boot size, we need more information as to your profile (height and weight at least) and the terrain you ski to determine which binding. Alpine boots will work, however they may be slightly uncomfortable and heavy to tour in unless they have a walk mode. Nothing you can't endure

G3 Targa Ascent Telemark Ski Binding

December 16, 2009

I would suggest trying a simpler binding first. The lateral stability is good, similar to hammerhead or any other cable system but not as good as say an NTN system. Tons of people use them on piste, never heard a complaint.. The touring function however puts the toe fairly high above the ski and will compromise a bit of edge stability especially with an intermediate skier. The basic G3 targa or BD 02 might be a better

Line Prophet 90 Ski

December 10, 2009

Most companies make a longer ski, you'll probably be looking at around 190cm. However a lot of the longer skis are in the big-mountain and powder skis. Check out the Volkl Mantras in 191cm. They are a good all-around ski and will be fairly stiff in flex, which you will likely need or learn to appreciate.

Line Eric Pollard Pro Ski

December 10, 2009

Either of those skis would perform for you. The momment bibby is a little less symmetrical front to back and therefor might be a better choice if you aren't skiing switch a lot. Neither have much camber if any under foot and won't be lively in anything but pow. For touring the momments might be a little lighter and easier to set trail with.

Stoic Bombshell Jacket - Men's

Stoic Bombshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 8, 2009

Very nice product. Just came back from a decent storm at Alta with this and it performed great. Decently thick for a shell, seems like it will be durable. Elastic inner cuffs w/thumbloop and removable powderskirt keep you dry. Slim fit but still worked well with multiple layers underneath( 5'10'' 145lbs athletic build, purchased medium). Not much insulating value (none expected)but with a merino base layer and light softshell underneath I was warm at -5. My only two gripes, which are minor: the elastic for the hood comes out right by my mouth which was awkward when fully zipped. And fully zipped i could not pull the hood over my head. that said it also kept the hood from blowing off in gale-force winds.

Black Diamond Ascension Nylon STS Skins

Black Diamond Ascension Nylon STS Skins

Rating for this product: 5 December 8, 2009

Iv'e owned three sets now and will probably purchase again. I am hard on gear and these have stood the test of time. They are thick and large to pack compared to others(ex. glidelite). Not so easy to pocket to keep glue warm. I only have touched up glue on one pair which was used for 3 seasons, more due to junk build up than loosing tack. I've used partner's skins and none have seemed to hold as well on the uphill.
