the single removal remark was tongue in cheek. It is not a pretty or easy removal. Rom____ is correct that it will probably involve damaging the seam to remove it.

I don't know about the Bean version, and I can tell you that the amount of down fill in this jacket is superior to almost every other down coat out there.

There are a number of ways to secure it...
- remove it when it is not needed and roll-n-fold it.
- you can also detach the middle roll it, and secure it with that velcro strap to the loop on the liner.

GoPro Chest Mount Harness

Rating for this product: 4 October 5, 2009

'want to wear a cam and not fear for the safety of your milk money? This thing rules. point it forward and chase your friends... point it backwards and grow nauseous with every second of replay. It allows movement on a hinge to angle it down for chasing the kiddos, or up if you're a tailgunner on skis. Most importantly, you can easily look down to see if you're accidentally recording a trip to the restroom. Do it and tie back the excess straps.

The hood will be a great layer of protection and another way to contain heat that would otherwise radiate off the top of the head. With a good knit hat, it shoudl be a great system to help keep warm

CamelBak Performance Water Bottle - 22oz

CamelBak Performance Water Bottle - 22oz

Rating for this product: 5 September 24, 2009

This bottle rules. It has the bite valve and straw to make it an adult sippy-cup. The polypro bottle is soft as well so you can wrench on it for a faster drink to get back to breathing when you're exercising.

The common complaint can be fixed with a little adjustment. temperature change, elevation change or carbonation will cause it to build up pressure inside and slowly force the liquid out of the bite valve (air bubble on top grows, forces liquid up straw...). remove the straw and it will never happen

If you run it through the dishwasher, clean any dishwasher debris out from under the silicone umbrella valve on the inside of the cap.

Columbia Waypoint II Shell - Men's

This jacket will beat the wet and the wind with no problem. A Fast Trek Fleece would be a great way to warm it up.

Clifbar Clif Shot Bloks - 18 Pack

September 22, 2009

the caffeine used is a gren tea extract = slower burning and not the tremendous crash at the end... leave that for the amphetamine caffeine out there.

ask for Roks to get the protein version

Marker Jester 16 Ski Binding

September 22, 2009

DIN is DIN... the standard tab size, dimension, and durometer has a very small tolerance for the DIN spec and regulations for adult ski boots. The forward pressure indicator was a bit different than on bindings preceding it, and that was probably the hang-up people mis-named. This binding is awesome.

such a fun ski... the butter zone is so easy to light up. It is easy to go at slow speed and does remarkably well at higher speeds. Lock it up with a Jester or Griffon and it is money.

Line Sir Francis Bacon Ski

Rating for this product: 5 September 22, 2009

flexing it with your hand gives you half the story. The shape keeps it on the snow and the damp nature slows the deflection. This holds well, floats well and turns well, without a ton of weight or fear of damage. Making it in a 172 will make it easier for a lot more people to enjoy its versatility

Rating for this product: 4 September 22, 2009

I have am going into my second season on this ski. I love the versatility the shape and how you can tinker with the size of the turn at any point. It is soft but still has great edgehold when you stand on it. A Jester is a great link to letting it rip.

I would suggest 1cm forward... the factory marks put it pretty far back.

Line Prophet 100 Ski

Line Prophet 100 Ski

Rating for this product: 5 September 22, 2009

Don't fix it if it isn't broken? This ski is still ahead of so many other skis out there. the innovation keeps it lightweight, easy to ski, and unbelievably resilient. 6'1", 185lbs and a 179cm is a one ski quiver for me... if i didn't have such a problem collecting skis.

Columbia Bugababy Interchange Bunting - Infant Girls'

September 22, 2009

They do in fact zip together. You can use the pieces by themselves or zipped together. The Snow Powder Down Bunting uses down, and will be the warmer of the two, and maybe the warmest of the offering.

Columbia Snow Powder Down Bunting - Infant Girls'

this bunting gives you the option to flip the cuffs over on the sleeves to cover the hand, and the leg to cover the feet. Keeping the leg flipped up will keep out of a boot and allow a walking child to do so comfortably
