Definitely not one-size-fits-all

Marmot Shadows Hat

Marmot Shadows Hat

Rating for this product: 4 January 1, 2010

Admittedly, I have a pretty big melon, but this thing did not even come close to fitting me comfortably. If you are lucky enough not to have a freakishly large head, the Shadows Hat is probably a good choice. It features typically high Marmot quality. One note, though: Backcountry's description indicates that this hat is "wool". The hat I received was 70% acrylic / 30% wool.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go cry myself to sleep on my huge pillow.

Mammut Laser Softshell Jacket - Men's

December 12, 2009

I read a review (elsewhere) of the Laser jacket in which the reviewer complained that the sleeves are a little on the short side. I'm 6'2'' with long arms, so short sleeves are a deal-breaker for me. (I like a close fit, so I don't want to size up just to get longer sleeves.) Thoughts? I'd love a second opinion...
