Am i able to walk around new york city all day and then wear with a dress at night? (the reason i purchased).

No, it's not an all day pounding the pavement shoe -- the support on the inner arch isn't enough for me (that's where the shoe is a bit wide..if you got the version with a strap, it would likely be better) but i can walk comfortably in these for a while, and they look good with lots of my clothes.
