A different incredible ride.

Rating for this product: 5 March 4, 2005

The 4807 swallow tail snowboard is awesome on powder conditions and is incredibly great on ice and hard pack. It is very stable on straight lines. It has a soft flex that makes it an advantage to carve your turns and hold it on edge. If you prefer stiffer flex in your deck you'll be very happy with this deck. I was blown away when I tried it and I had to have this immediately. It's light, strong, and hold steady at speed. I highly recommend this deck. I ride this snowboard more than my other boards. You will like this board.

DAKINE Sequence Backpack - 1800 cu in

DAKINE Sequence Backpack - 1800 cu in

Rating for this product: 4 October 12, 2004

Everything about this pack is great except that DaKine couldn't figure out a way for you to carry a water reservoir with the camera pack included. They figured that since your photo gear is worth a lot not getting wet that you shouldn't be carrying a water reservoir at the same time. I'm going to try and see I can use the external StoAway water reservoir from Camelbak and clip it on the back exterior. DaKine could have also used waterproof zippers and taped seams for better sealing. It does have a few water proofed zippered pockets inside. This is the only pack made (and believe me I looked everywhere)that can carry your photo gear, skis, and a snowboard. With these 3 short falls of the Sequence pack I'm sticking with the pack.

Garmin Rino 120

Garmin Rino 120

Rating for this product: 4 September 29, 2004

The Garmin Rhino 120 is such a cool tool to have when your out exploring with friends. The 2 items into one unit is very important since 1 less item to carry is more. A color LCD screen version will be my next upgrade with this product. I use my Rhino 120 in my car and on my mountain bike with their proper mounts when I'm out. The additional memory storage is also cool when your needing to add more detailed maps. You can also see where your buds are and in which bar while your still outside making powder tracks. If it had color screen would have given it 5 star rating.

K2 Made'n AK Alpine Ski

K2 Made'n AK Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 September 17, 2004

This is one very cool ski to have...if you like wide twin tip skis. It isn't too stiff to turn. Great on ice. Super in the deep. Very fast and stable on the down hill. I hope that K2 would make a swallow tailed powder ski in the future. I recommend this ski to anybody that has the skill.
