I've been running in the Brooks Cascadia and am looking for

La Sportiva Wildcat Trail Running Shoe - Women's

I've been running in the Brooks Cascadia and am looking for something with a lower profile but a similar level of cushioning and lateral stability (both sides). I'm really curious about these Wildcats but they aren't in the running stores near where I live. Can someone comment on how low to the ground they are compared to the Cascadia or the Fireblade? Also, are the soles flexible -- do they bend when you toe off or stay straight like hiking shoes do? Thanks in advance for your insights.
