Sorel Caribou Boot - Women's

Everybody's different, but I think you'd be good. I ordered my actual size first and even with the thickest socks I own my feet were still flopping around and I had to send them back and get a size smaller. They fit great!

Runs small

Mountain Hardwear Xenon Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 October 27, 2009

I really like all the features with this jacket, especially the durability and breathability, but it does run small since it is a "climbing" shell. I normally wear an XL in MH outerwearbut this is pretty tight. I did wear it during rain/snow mix in Alaska and it kept me dry and therefore warm, but I couldn't wear it over my normal fleece... kind of disappointing since I was relying on consistent sizing. Buy a size bigger if you are planning on using it in extreme weather where you might need thicker layers.

They run big!!

Sorel Caribou Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 October 27, 2009

I did a TON of research and narrowed down my choices to this boot and the Columbia Bugaboot, and I am glad I picked these! My feet get cold very easily and I was worried these would be too warm when I'm inside but they seem to regulate heat well. They are super comfortable, really warm, great lug sole and supple uppers. Be warned though, I did have to return mine and get a size smaller than I normally wear since my feet were literally flopping around in them, as others have stated. I thought they wouldn't be that much bigger, but they really seem to run an entire size bigger.

no dog hair!

Love them... I am hard to fit since I am built like an apple dumpling, but they polished, no bunching or sagging, and they move with me. I plan on wearing them under my ski pants on super cold days. Best of all, they are dog hair resistant!!! Seems like most pants like these only come in black, which I hate because I can't wear them outside with lint rolling myself, but my Australian Shepherd just sat on my lap for 20 min and there are only minimal hairs stuck to these pants. BIG PLUS.

Smith Haven Sunglasses - Polarized

Rating for this product: 5 October 20, 2009

I LOVED these... they were comfortable, durable, crystal-clear on and off the water and with my contacts in too. Unfortunately they got scraped off the top of my head kayaking an Alabama swamp, so the moral is if you buy them, buy a floaty strap too or you will cry like I did.

I am also considering the two brands... my feet get really really cold. Anybody have the answer?
