The North Face Transit Down Jacket - Women's

October 23, 2009

I have a medium and am 5'6" and 135lbs. I think this is as flattering as it can be for a down jacket meaning that it is not very puffy at all and is pretty thin and also does have an hourglass shape or a slight tapering at the waist. I would not go with white but any of the other colors would be good and I think they wash very well with spray n wash and dry with some tennis balls on low. My last years north face aconcaqua has the same fabric in pink and came out like new and the washing even seemed to take away slight wearing or fuzz in a couple of spots in the material.

The North Face Transit Down Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 October 23, 2009

I am 5'6" with an average or longer torso 135lbs. Size medium runs a little bigger than my last years medium north face aconcaqua. Wanted something a little longer to cover my butt and this comes about 2" past bottom of my butt or 32.5" lenght from top of back collar. could easily wear with a couple layers underneath but small might have been to snug. Sure it will be warmer than my shorter one for the cold Chicago winter. It is slightly tapered inward at the waist and is not too puffy. Love the color and think it will wash well like my aconcaqua.
