  • Stomping Grounds:

Alta, Snowbird and the Wasatch Backcountry
  • Bio:

I'm a relocated telemark skier from the east coast. I moved out to Salt Lake to "bum" for a season but I sort of got stuck! You can find me most days at Alta, on occasion, Snowbird and if not, hiking and touring the neighboring terrain. I compete, and will travel to a few telemark comps this winter.
When the snow stops falling I spend my time climbing, mountain biking, and traveling.

Comfortable and Cozy yet Tough!

Cross Alma Stretch Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 December 15, 2010

I love the fabric on this jacket! It's soft on your skin and stretches with every move, but is tough enough to battle the elements. It's warm, but the insulation is light, doesn't weight you down and rarely seems to get too hot. Handy pockets and vents are conveniently located to stash your stuff or cool you off. My favorite feature is the lyrca cuff (so soft!) and the roomy sleeve that fit over gloves and keep snow out!

Pretty cool

Scott Binary Jacket - Women's

Scott Binary Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 August 7, 2009

I like this jacket. I have a small white, fits well, but could use a little room for more layers. Its not very warm on its own. great pit zips, and nice and light for touring.

Only downside is that I have owned two of them. I took a bad fall skiing on some rocks and tore the thing to pieces. Its not as burly as you'd think. I wouldn't recommend climbing in it, I guess.
