Marker Griffon Schizo 12 Ski Binding
you can buy 110mm or 130mm brakes but they are around $50. In the past marker has sold bindings with the larger brakes already on the bindings...but I dont know if they do that with this years models.

Bern Baker Hard Hat Helmet w/Knit Liner

Well from reading the description it appears it is. "Includes knit liner for snow use" so since it can be used for "Skiing, snowboarding, biking, skating, kayaking, BMX " it seems like it almost has to be removable.

Line Elizabeth Ski
November 11, 2009
The big question is will this be the only ski he uses...I would get these skis(elizabeths) if its the only ski he will be using since the underfoot is 110mm...however, if he will be using these new skis as powder skis get the sir francis bacons because they are more specialized for powder. Either way it should be a great ski...i have friends with both and love them. Also for bindings I would recommend either the marker griffons or jesters.

DAKINE Pro 2 Backpack - 1600cu in
November 11, 2009
Just from a gut instinct I would say no the boot won't fit. However, if you have really small feet maybe. But just as a tip, you can carry boots on the outside of backpacks by looping straps of the pack through the boots or using a carabiner.

Burton Pipe Glove - Women's
November 9, 2009
They prolly wont be very warm. Considering they are pipe gloves. The are a low profile design so they most likely have 0 insulation. So unless your hands are naturally warm i would not say these will keep you warm in anything below 15-20ish degrees .

I'm going to guess that that A-frame will fit better with this helmet. However, you might wanna consider getting the oakley crowbars... In the gear guru pic with the guy in the orange jacket. He is wear oakley crowbars and they seem to fit very well.

Oakley Crowbar Goggle
November 9, 2009
The really only significant difference between those three goggles is the shape of the frame. The lenses are going to be made of the same material. Also the A-frame and crowbars are slightly smaller than the wisdom. Thus those 2 are more helmet compatiable. Hope that helps.

November 8, 2009
Considering they are 94mm underfoot and they are rockered skis they should be pretty good in the powder. They arent gonna be as good as the fat 110/120mm underfoot skis. But they will do a hell of a better job compared to all mountain skis.

November 6, 2009
I found these bindings to be horrible in the park. I had them on a pair of volkl dogens and I kept prereleasing while riding switch. Going forward they a good bindings but they suck at switch riding but that is cause they arent designed to be riden switch.

I have a pair of the marker griffons on my armada t-halls and just love them. Super durable and not flimsy. I have already over 50 days on my griffons and still as good as new. Even though there is a fair amount of plastic the important parts are metal. When you click into them they fell really solid.

As for bindigns I really like the marker royal family. For you daughter the marker griffon would be a solid choice. They are great in the park and super durable.

Rossignol Phantom SC97 Ski
November 4, 2009
In my opinion it they will be less clumsy since they are shorter. The only thing that the width really changes is how long it takes to change from one edge to another...but its not a huge difference. But they will ski way differently from your race skis. As for great in all conditions....(is there such a ski, cause i want it then). In most conditions this ski should do well. But it should do great on groomers and moguls should be easier cause the ski is shorter. And it should do pretty well in powder. It won't have the float of a 120mm under foot but it will still be a lot better than narrow race skis in powder.

November 3, 2009
Have you considered trying to find a local shop with the helmet so that you can try it on? At the very least try and locate an other giro helmet and try those on and see what size fits. Generally the same manufacture has all of their helmets fit the same.
If you cannot do that...it seems like the sizing chat would suggest you get a medium(55-59cm).

Burton Custom Smalls Snowboard - Kids'
November 3, 2009
Given that your nephew is 75pounds I probably recommend the 125cm long board. That puts him right in the middle of the recommend weight range(50-95pounds)--I personally like it when I am towards the high weight range. This also still gives him about 20 to grow. If you think he will be growing a lot and won't be buying a new board when he gets to 95ish pounds. Maybe go with the 131(65-120pounds). He will still be within the weight range. Be ideally go with the 125cm. Hope that helps :)

Burton Joystick Snowboard
November 2, 2009
the most likely reason they suggest that is that the board rides as if it were a 1-2cm longer than it actually is. This could be because the board is rockered. Or it could be that they made the board a little wider which increase the surface area of the board and thus if the board is bought short the surface area is about the same. Hope that helps.
