Love the phase SL, fits next to skin for sure, but not too tight. I'm 5'9" 145lbs and it fits like a glove. Nicely longer in the back so it doesnt ride up at all.

Unlike most boxer briefs these don't have that flat front squash your junk to your leg feel. They beat every other pair of boxer briefs I've worn for sure. The Ex officios are a nice alternative, but if you can spare 10 extra bucks, to me they're definitely worth it. Oh yeah, and maybe the best thing, after a full day of wear, they weren't stretched out and sliding up my leg like other boxers

This vest felt like paper! incredible stuff. I thought it would be a little thicker. Still seems like a great quality product, just not what I'm looking for.

This is a great little pack. Its a good size, holds a water bladder nicely, and looks good. The bungee on the front works well, and the side stretch pockets hold bottles and such very well. The inside front has a nice deep pocket with a key keeper for random items. The pack is about the width of a regular school binder just for comparison. I have used it for lots of hikes and also light school use. Works great. My only wish is that the belt strap wings and belt had a place to tuck into when not in use. I daisy chain them up and they stay out of the way, but would be nice to be able to fold them in.

This is a really nice beanie. It seems a little bit smaller and a slight bit thicker than than the Rho LT. It also has a ribbed texture that the Rho LT doesnt have, which may account for the extra thickness

Well, I think I found the best hiking pants ever. These things are pretty much fantastic. Great fit, not too close, but that prevents them from binding up at all, perfectly stretchy, the spandex give them a really smooth/borderline slick feel. They are lightweight, thick enough to block wind, breath really well. The pockets are excellently placed for wear with a harness if that ends up happening. The cinch cord at the bottom is really nice for keeping your pants in place while you hike. I'm a big fan of arcteryx built in belt, and waist. The pockets are mesh, so they would drain nicely. They have a slightly heavier feel than a regular nylon pant, but I have to be honest I'm hardpressed to say they are a softshell. I think of the patagonia simple guides as a more typical softshell feel, these are a sort of cross over between traditional hiking pants, and softshell pants. The nice thing is, with layering they would easily compete with a heavier soft shell, but without it they are about the best hiking pants you could want. If I'd have found these before I bought my other hiking pants, Id have stuck with these guys because they perform double duty. Downside... man are they expensive for hiking pants. Upside, if this is the only pant youve got, you just saved yourself buying two different pairs of pants, so the price about evens out. Tough call

Really like these pants. Nice close cut, but not too tight on me. These are close to the marmot scree pants, maybe a little bit lighter, and slightly more loose, but the waist feels better (I had trouble with the size small scree being too small and the medium being too big). Has belt loops. Does not have the zip bottom like the scree pants, but no biggie for me. I dont think I would wear them for rock climbing, they are a bit too binding for really high leg move. Definitely for hiking, and alpine climbing, spring skiing, stuff like that. Good comparison to the MH talus and Chockstone pants, but more slim cut.

These pants are almost exactly the same as the Talus pants. They are quite comfortable. A little bit baggier fit than the talus pant but not much. Built in belt, no belt loops, the build in belt actually only tightens down 1 side, so you end up with a bit of an uneven tightness at first, but you can even that out. I still prefer it to carrying an extra belt as you would for the talus. There is also no velcro on this pant, which I personally prefer, nothing getting snagged in the wash. The material is nicely stretchy and thicker than a plain nylon pant, definitely a light softshell feel. The inner pull tabs dont make a lot of sense to me honestly, but I could me missing something there. Overall Id say if you like the talus, but want an integrated belt go for these. On the other hand if you like both of those pants but feel they are too baggy, the patagonia simple guide is a very similar material but a closer cut, and ever so slightly thicker. Patagonia simple guide has elasticized waist and belt loops. The Arcteryx Gamma LT is also similar, has the least stretch of the 4 pants, but the feel is more slick/smooth which is actually really nice IMHO and they are oh so light feeling! The articulated kneed on the arcteryx feels the best out of the three, it is a more loose fit than the patagonia simple guides, but about the same as the chockstone and talus pant. Hope that helps!

I have to start by saying im a bit of an arcteryx fan so I have a small bias. However, I'm incredibly happy with this fleece. I personally really like the look, and the feel. It keeps me plenty warm, but not too warm. Fits perfectly under my Beta SL shell (doesnt hang out at all, cut just right) Plenty of room for arm movement and a base layer underneath. The hand pockets are mesh which some dont like, but I do because it lets me dry gloves etc if they get a bit wet while hiking/skiing/whatever. The pockets also go all the way up the inside so youre gloves that youre trying to dry arent in a ball or if youre using them as ventilation they allow plenty of airflow. You dont really need the pockets for ventilation though as to be honest the wind does go through pretty handily. The chest pocket is nice, only problem I have is that the inside port for the headphones cord is actually too small for my headphones (the jack end, no im not a complete idiot). Ive had it for a couple of weeks now, no signs of pillage. The cuffs seem very well made, a little bit of stretch but keep their shape and they arent abrasive which i worry about with cuffs (i hate chaffed wrists, bleh). No drawstring, but honestly i wouldnt wear this alone on the slopes because the wind goes through it so well, thus my hardshell has a drawstring and I'm happy to not be carrying two drawstrings around. Collar is nice and sturdy. I wear tshirt size small, and the size small fits me great. Wish i could afford another one!

Im really digging these pants. I talked to a couple of other friends who also swear by these guys. They are a nice light nylon pant with a relatively soft feel. First weekend I had them, did an all day highropes/obstacle course with some friends, then the next day we hit up some out of the way boulders for a day of scrapping through rough boulder problems and some rough top outs (maybe the hardest part haha). They were perfect for both activities, stayed flat on my waist, didnt stretch out, nice and cool. Honestly the only thing I'm not a fan of is the velcro, but thats because i dont like velcro...its on the back pockets, the cargo pockets, and theres a small velcro patch on the inside waist to keep them closed. Remember to close all the velcro before washing. Overall, 5 stars. If anything changes I'll be sure to update. One more thing, I have about a 29-30 in waist (wear 30x30 at most retailers and tshirt size small) and the size small fits me great, plenty of length if you have a little longer legs, but not too much length if youre a 30in

These are a great pair of pants. I got a size 30 and normally wear a size 30/30 pant, however I would have been better off with a 28 these guys. No big deal. As far as quality is concerned, they seem like top notch pants. well made and designed, nice material. I was hoping for somethign more similar to the Mountain Hardware Talus pants, but these actually feel more similar to the Mesa pants with just a little more stretch. Nice and light weight, love the zipper pockets and the fit over all.
