Backcountry.com Prime Power Stretch Pant - Women's

July 21, 2009

What's the best way to deal with the waist on these pants? Like everyone else, I love the coziness and the look & feel, etc., but the waistband is goofy. Is there a quick sewing fix? Best to tack the band in a few more places, or what?

Osprey Packs Ariel 75 Backpack - Women's - 4600cu in

July 21, 2009

I'm planning to use this pack primarily in bear country and I have two questions: 1) will a large sized Bearvault fit in this pack? 2) would it fit in sideways?
A friend recommended packing the pack with the bear canister sideways in the small of your back. What do you think?
