The first time I wore these socks it was with a pair of Tevas at the Power to the Peaceful Festival in San Francisco. The last time I wore them was during a desert hike in Arizona. These are far and away the best socks, for any conditions, I've ever worn. I often suffer from "hot foot" in my Merrells, and "toe bunching" in my Tevas, but in these socks I've been nothing but comfortable. just think, all of this time I've thought it was the shoes.

I got this item on sale for five bucks. I was just looking for something to tide me over until the dog's birthday in November after she chewed up her old one after I'd left it off her too long (apparently- she hadn't chewed up anything for 10 years). I'm exceptionally pleased with the purchase. I'd happily have paid full price for the collar. It's wildly adjustable and there's room to keep her tags and lead separate on the same D-ring. It's what you'd expect from Kelty. One more "little thing" than you'd expect from any other brand.

I do quite a lot of camping and day hiking. And I'm just now starting to get into backpacking a little more seriously. I recently purchased this product to use on backpacking trips, but it was forced into service when the king sized air mattress failed. I gotta' tell you, aside from the loss of space (versus the king sized air mattress) this thing is awesome. In the truest sense of the word. I'm a picky sleeper with a crappy back, but this thing was more comfortable than any number of substitutes, including my own couch.

If there's a better/easier bite valve to use, I've not come across it! I particularly enjoy the version with the shut off (just in case) but the ease of use of this bite valve is tremendous. My best friend has had extensive dental work done and no other valve works for her at all. Makes something easy even easier!
