this years jj has the ar50 sidewall. this means that there is cap construction in the tip and tail and sandwich construction under the foot. This means that the swing weight will be overall less

not well. consider recommended mounting point back 5 from center. you could get away with a bit above that too.

It is really just personal preference. Some people like to sink into the powder. with the arg youll sink in like an inch and it will be easy to ski. With the jj youll sink in a little more, get more face shots and everything good about powder. But the real thing you have to look at is that it's not going to be those same snow conditions all the way down. Somewhere along the line it will be hardpack or even ice so the jj will be a lot better choice i think.

im 5'8" and I am 150 lbs. I am advanced to expert skiier and I ski out west like colorado and utah area skiing off trail like trees bumps steeps bowls with some out of bounds skiing. I used to ski on these 151 park skis but I rented armada arvs last season at 175 and loved them but I wanted something fatter. So I was wondering what size I should get

Armada JJ Ski
December 11, 2009
I am 5'7 140 pounds and I am an advanced/expert skiier. I have never heard one bad review about this ski so I want to get it badly. First, I have a pair of armada ar5's in 151 or up to my chin so I am used to a shorter ski. I have had this ski for about three years because I never had enough money to buy one. I was looking to buy this one but I don't know what size to get. I like short buttery skis but Ive heard it skis like crazy short.

Ok wow Angus I don't think you answered his question there. The real answer is yes they are fine for big jumps as long as you don't get over 60-70 ft. Sure there are other boards that are better for that, but what this board does on rails makes up for it.

Armada AR6 Ski
October 7, 2009
I would not center mount them unless you are doing only rails jumps and a ton of switch. I have mine 2.5 cm back and it really doesn't sacrifice any park performance but it gives you much better all mtn. Bottom line is if you do any all mtn don't mount center.

-2 or -1 if you do a lot of switch because it will give you good enough forward stability while not sacrificing switch ability. Never center mount unless you will do 99% switch because you won't be able to ski forward.

i would say pink iridium because it is right in the middle it can handle bright and low light days while vr28 just handles bright days better than pink

they are both constructed in the same way but the pipe cleaner has a high maintenance race base that scratches super easily so the ar6 base is way more durable

If you do rails then you have to get the ar6 unless you like to tune your skis everyday. The race base is super high maintenance while with the s7 on the ar6, you can tune it once a year and be in good shape.

the only differnence is the graphics and the quality of wood. Armada makes all there new models with more refined and high quality material and later down the road they will change the ski up but as for now the tech is the same. It still has the race base the ABS construction ar core 2 and 2.5 millimeter edge.

definitely 164 the 157 will be easier to get used to but the longer length makes you a better skier in the long run

Burton Deuce Snowboard

The way I look at it is in 3 areas park freestyle freeride. So freestyle is a mix of the two. Freeride is carving hard at high speeds. So Freestyle is just simply put as all mountain. And Cyrus is right about everything he said, i'm just trying to give another option.
