Has high beam and low beam, although both are extremely bright. I was actually fiddling with it the other night and discovered that it has a strobe function, for both high and low beam settings (this is helpful, because battery life is longest with strobe). I had no idea that this lamp had a strobe setting – simply double click the on/off toggle switch while it's already on, and the opposite beam will be turned on in strobe mode. Not the best way to do it in my opinion, but hey, the feature is there.

I dig this lamp.
