Patagonia Capilene 4 Bottom - Men's

Patagonia Capilene 4 Bottom - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 4, 2008

I wore these to work when the temps dropped well below zero. I was working in an unheated house for a week and my legs were kept warm with the cap 4s. These grunders are maybe 5 years old now but look and perform like they were new

MontBell Ultralight Down Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 4, 2008

I've owned this jacket for about 5 years and have used it backpacking in the cascades, rockies and alaska. It sheds light rain, drys well, and has always performed exceptionally. Because of it i have two other montbell jackets of different weights that i also wear all winter and summer sometimes

skimping on the fabric

Patagonia Capilene 1 Bottom - Men's

Patagonia Capilene 1 Bottom - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 January 4, 2008

This is the third pair of silkweights i have owned and although the overall performance is the same, Patagonia has really skimped on the amount of fabric it uses to the cover the fly. Check older ones or any other bottoms they make and you will find that there is less of an overlay and that, for me, leads to more exposure of the privates.

I've owned this jacket for 3 years now and have nothing but praise for its exceptional quality and durablity. It compresses well and keeps the cold out. I use it mainly for summer mountain treks but it also works well as a camp layer. Check it out!!

Arc'teryx Palisade Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 October 30, 2006

I've only worn these pants a few times (it's in the 30s-20s these days) but found that they're well-made, very lightweight, and shed muck pretty well.

Patagonia Capilene Midweight Hiking Crew Socks

Rating for this product: 4 September 25, 2006

I had just received these socks before we went backpacking in the Glacier Peak wilderness and found them to be warm, comfortable and, best of all, a non-event item. Highly recommended.
