CW-X Insulator Stabilyx 3/4 Tights - Men's

November 30, 2009

I had this + gore tex pro shell (beta ar) and skiied in a 17-30F weather.

Slightly chili on the lift but perfect while skiing.

I tried putting on another merino layer (tight base layer) on top of this but found it uncomfotable - maybe a loose mid layer would've been better

MontBell Ex Light Down Jacket - Men's

October 2, 2009

Can you layer a down jacket? if its used as middle layer, moisture from the base layer will kill the insulation right? I mean the moisture from base layer has to go thru the middle layer to get to the breathable shell .. no ?
