You could run the padlock from the zipper hole to the plastic carry clip. That would most likely lock it away a bit better.

The yellow would be a nice choice. It brightens things up and offers more depth and contrast to the shadows and darker areas. It even does pretty good in when it is completely dark outside.

Your best bet is to click on the car rack configurator at the top and enter your car info in their. It will tell you just what you need. However most likely if you have a factory rack this should fit just fine on it.
